Dr. Dan Gelvan is a specialist in medical devices, with expertise in Strategic Planning, Business Development, Marketing, Application Strategy, Product Development, Clinical Trials, Education, Reimbursement and Funding. Dan is also the CEO and Founder of Medical Dimensions Ltd., a management consulting company for biomedical companies, and the CEO and Founder of Sirius Implantable Systems Ltd. Equally he is the Founder of Closed Loop Therapies Ltd./BV, another  development stage medical device company.

In the past, Dan has held a variety of technical and management positions with Medtronic, notably as Head of MITEC (Medtronic International Technology, research and Education Center). He has also held positions in Concord Ventures and Remon Medical Technologies Ltd., and has supported numerous medical device companies as an active partner.

Dan holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and is an experienced Lecturer in Physiology, Nutrition and Biochemistry. Dan has taught at leading Universities in Israel and the USA for the past 15 years.

Dr Levon Arakelyan is a specialist with almost three decades of experience in Mathematical Modeling in Biology and Medicine for diagnostics and prevention of cardiovascular and oncology diseases. His skills also included the company’s strategic planning, clinical trials, marketing and business development.

Prior to immigrating to Israel, Levon served in senior research and administrative positions in the Armenian State Scientific Research Institute of Cardiology. In Israel, he joined the Institute for Medical BioMathematics (Bene Ataroth). He also served as the CTO in multidisciplinary biotechnological Company Optimata Ltd., leading the R&D team.

Levon holds a Ph.D. in Biology (Biological and Medical Cybernetics) from Yerevan State University in Armenia. He also holds a M.Sc. in Computer Sciences with a specialty in computerized control and management systems.

Dr David Luria is a fully certified internal medicine and cardiology specialist with 25 years of clinical experience, including a two-year fellowship in the Mayo Clinic, Maine, USA. He currently works as a senior Cardiologist in the Electrophysiology Unit, Heart Institute at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv.

As a member of the Israeli, European and American Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing Societies, David lectures annually about cardiac arrhythmia. He also serves as a Lecturer in the Sacker Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.

David has published over 30 medical research papers in leading international cardiological journals and has also had his research funded by the Israeli Cardiology Society, the Mayo Clinic and leading Heart Pacemaker companies.

Ran Amir has more than 15 years of experience in Managerial, Marketing and Business Development activities in IT and Life Sciences, gained both in the USA and in Israel.

Ran served as the VP of Business Development for Optimata, an Israeli bio-simulation company. He then became the Marketing Manager of a Technological Incubator that focused mainly on developing medical devices. During the two years prior to joining Cardio Dynamic Systems, Ran Amir was also the co-founder of two startups companies that dealt with image enhancement for echo systems.

Ran holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Delaware University and an M.B.A. from the Garvin School of Management in Arizona USA.

Leonid Khain is an expert in the development of Software and System Architecture. He gained extensive work experience over 20 years by working in leading high-tech companies such as Kodak, Optimata, Wisosoft and Scitex.

Leonid has been involved in developing Internet related technologies, Client-Server applications, a Biology Simulator System, Image Processing, Object Oriented Programming and Design, and more. He also has extensive knowledge of project management and test automation software. To these skills, Leonid also adds his expertise in the Mobile Internet, Applications Integration, Data Processing and eCommerce.

Leonid Khain holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Tallinn in Estonia. He graduated with honors, specializing in Automatics and Telemechanics.
